This plastic jerrycan mixer makes use of a mains-powered control panel. The panel includes: start/stop control, mix timer, RPM adjustment, docking function and LED-light indicators. The operator can set up the plastic jerrycan mixer to suit their unique needs. Adjusting the mix duration via the timer is a very useful function for ensuring each batch is mixed uniformly. The docking function button returns the four jerrycans back to the vertical position ready for unloading or sampling.
Designed with simplicity in mind the mixer head is fast and easy to load. Place four containers inside the base plate all touching one another. Place the clamp-down bar on top of the four containers and use the two clamp-down nuts to secure the containers in place. The clamping mechanism requires no tools as it is secured by hand. We are able to adapt the mixer head to accommodate containers of different sizes if required by your company.
The EU Machinery Directive and relevant British Standards detail the requirements for machine guarding. Our team of design engineers design each mixer to include fully compliant guarding. Guarding protects the users from four sides preventing access to the rotating jerrycans during mixing. It is important that any rotating machinery is adequately guarded to ensure compliance with regulations as well as to ensure a credible risk assessment can be written.
Safety and regulatory compliance are key priorities for all companies. This tumbler includes a safety relay circuit and gate safety switch. The safety system prevents operators from being able to start the rotation of the mixing head if the gates are open. When the mixer is running if the gates are opened in error the mixer will stop rotating immediately. The correct way to stop the mixer is to press the dedicated 'stop' button.
