Fully compliant lift system

Our pneumatic system requires a minimal amount of maintenance during the life of the unit; powered by a plug-in airline connection a pneumatic-hydraulic pump supplies oil to the lifting system to enable operators to use the powered lift/lower functions. Our highly-experienced engineers install mandatory safety features such as emergency stops and blocking valves; should the airline be disconnected, the forks will remain locked in place and the load will remain in position. The 'Ex' pneumatic lift system is much simpler and cheaper to maintain than an equivalent electric ATEX / UKEX forklift truck.

ATEX-certified for gas and dust zones 1, 2, 21, and 22

Having assisted numerous companies to handle flammable materials, we fully understand the wide range of different applications and can offer an 'Ex' rated lifter to suit your exact requirements. Our pneumatic-hydraulic 'Ex' stackers can be supplied ATEX / UKEX compliant, suitable for use in Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 environments. We ensure each of our stacker trucks has electrical continuity; a path to ground is always present. With each 'Ex' model we supply a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity which states compliance with the directives and relevant British and ISO Standards.

ATEX load cell weigh scale

This model integrates a heavy-duty weigh scale system for measuring the weight of pallets or IBCs when lifted. A load cell carriage is used to measure the weight of the load. The zoned load cell carriage is designed to be very robust for use in industrial environments. The ATEX display is mounted on the head assembly and includes weighing features such as zero, tare, etc. The weigh scale system has an accuracy of +/- 1.25kg.

Stainless steel clad forks

Our 'Ex' stacker truck forks are clad in stainless steel to reduce the risk of spark generation should the forks ever come into contact with the ground. Manufactured in the UK, the forks are fabricated to a high standard to ensure they last a long time even when used in harsh work environments.

Hot-rolled lifting channels

Using only the highest-quality steel from trusted suppliers, our heavy-duty hot-rolled lifting channels ensure the unit remains stable when lifting up to heights of 2765mm. Each unit is tested on-site with static and dynamic loads according to industry standards to ensure full compliance. Units are supplied with load test certificates and are CE- and UKCA-marked.

Controllable rear-wheel steering

To give operators maximum directional control when moving heavy pallets or IBCs, ackermann rear-wheel steering is provided on all our 'Ex' forked stackers. Low rolling resistance wheels are fitted to ensure movement of heavy loads is both safe and easy. Furthermore, units are fitted with park brakes to keep the unit stationary when not in use. For applications where space is an issue, we can provide custom leg configurations to suit, including CAD approval drawings.
