Powered clamping pads

This model offers enhanced powered functionality compared to a traditional drum-handling stacker truck. Operators can easily drive the unit towards a drum positioned on the floor or on the corner of a pallet, hydraulically clamp the pads around the middle of the drum and lift it with ease. The powered functionality minimises manual handling which not only saves time but also protects operators from injury. Please note that this model can only be used on plastic drums that feature proud rigid rings around the circumference. Please contact us if you are handling smooth-sides plastic drums.

Efficient electric drive system

Onboard batteries power the DC drive motor via a steerable rear tiller. The electric drive system allows operators to move drums quickly to keep food-processing operations flowing. The drive system is simple and easy to use with a minimal amount of training. When the work has been completed, operators simply plug the external charger into the machine to top-up the batteries, ensuring the machine is ready for the next batch of drums to arrive.

Easily accessible controls

The tiller at the rear controls the forward and reverse drive speeds. The speed control is progressive, allowing precise control and accurate drum placement. The rear control panel houses all the controls for the head assembly, including lift, lower, clamp, and unclamp. Safety is always at the front of our minds when developing a machine. Each model we offer includes a battery isolator switch and emergency stop buttons where necessary. The drive tiller incorporates an anti-trap switch and a pedestrian warning horn for safety.
